roach back

how to save file as jpeg and post it

hey again. so i figured it out. it's really easy, i'm sure you guys are way ahead of me on this one, but if not, you just go to file-save image, and it will save as a jpeg.
here's my lady roach. tell me what you think. Are the boobs a little too much, lol? i think it looks hilarious.

so what do you guys think about doing a storyboard? I'm pretty sure we have to turn one in or present it to the class, so maybe we should think about getting together sometime to do it.

Also, it would be nice if you guys could post your roaches, too, so that we can all have a frame of reference to work with. Just a thought...

can't come to class today

hey guys,

sorry, but i can't come to class today. i pulled a muscle in my shoulder and can hardly move. i did make a roach, though, and i will post it as soon as i figure out how.

Member roles

Each team shall clearly define the roles and responsibilities of each team member. As a suggestion, a team should define the following roles:

  • Designer. Designer shall lead the effort to develop the storyline, define characters, write a short script, and pitch the story to me and the class.
  • Modelers and animators. Modelers and animators shall create 3D models and animation sequences.
  • Rendering lead. Rendering lead shall be in charge of rendering images or coordinating the rendering effort if the rendering job is distributed among team members.
  • Webmaster. Each team is required to maintain a Web page for their project.
  • Possibly, a team leader.

I just wanted to post these so we can start thinking about who does what. I guess I'll be the Webmaster since I did this blog, and I definitely want to have a part with the modeling and animation process, but after getting to know you guys and seeing your drawings, I feel like yall would be a lot better at story and character development. Don't get me wrong, I really want to help as much as possible, but I think I'd be better at organizing things and maintaining the website. I do think we should all do a little bit of everything, and then one person can kind of be "in charge" for each role. Let me know what you guys want to do...

Changing Settings

There should be a link in the top right corner of the blog that says "Customize," and that's how you change the settings. If you don't see the link, then I guess I'm the only one who can change the settings. If you want to add a website link to either of the link lists, just post the link and then I'll add it. Or if there's anything else, just let me know.

BTW, I read the project requirements, and turns out, we're actually required to maintain a website! LOL that's already taken care of.

Hey!

Hey! It's Katie. I couldn't find the settings you were talking about, so it's probably an admin thing ^^ My last name's Carlberg. The blog looks great I can tell it'll be really useful.

Welcome to our blog!

Hey guys!

I hope that yall figured everything out ok... Feel free to change any of the settings. If you need help, just ask me. I am fairly new to blogging, but it's pretty easy to navigate through the settings once you sign in. I'm not sure if you guys will be able to since i'm the admin, but if you can't then i'll give you my password. I don't know either of your last names, so either edit them into the blog subtitle by going to SETTINGS-BASIC-DESCRIPTIONS, or if you can't, just let me know and I'll put them in for you.
