You have the club files, right? Maybe you should start on the bar scene w/ your girl model. If you have our hero model too, you could do that. Just the girl sitting at the bar, maybe drinking or something...the hero walks into frame and goes up to her...they talk....then they leave.

To import objects, just append them (like you would a material). If they don't show up, look in the other layers of your file.

I modeled this based on the club scene that Zack showed me and Katie's Motel. I would love to have a copy of that club scene, Zack, so if you could post a link to where you got it or post the image (if you can). Then I can try to make the bar look like it's part of that picture or something... Of course, the shapes and colors are always subject to change based on the background image that we decide to use if we don't end up using that one that you showed me. I still need to add bar stools and accessories (bottles, glasses, etc.); I was just having some trouble with my internet connection when I was working on this. Just wanted to show yall what I had in mind...

Storyboard

Okay here's the storyboard I drew up. It's not perfect as we still have some fine tuning and a few different ideas about what all's going to happen, but basically as I understand, start out showing a disco ball, then zoom out to the dance floor where cockroaches are dancing. Then there's a girl roach sitting at the bar. One cockroach comes and tries to hit on her, but then the girl's boyfriend comes over and I believe they're going to fight. Then at the end the camera zooms out to show that they're actually in a roach motel. Again subject to change but that's the jist. Depending on how long it takes, we might stop it in the middle for mid term then finish it for the final project.
